Privacy notice
How StructAssure Ltd handles personal data in connection with this website and its services. Last updated 16 September 2026.
Who we are
StructAssure Ltd (company no. 15055975) is the data controller for personal data described in this notice. Registered office: 18 Challener Way, St. Helen Auckland, Bishop Auckland DL14 9EH. Contact: craigcollier@structassure.co.uk.
This website
This is a static website. It has no contact forms, no user accounts, no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. We do not track visitors.
Two third parties are involved in serving it:
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Cloudflare processes standard connection data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to deliver the pages and protect against abuse, in line with its own privacy policy. We do not receive personally identifiable visitor data from Cloudflare.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. When a page loads, your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which involves transmitting your IP address to Google. Google's privacy policy governs that processing.
Email enquiries
If you email us, we hold your name, email address and the content of the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting engagement, and afterwards for our business records. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the business, or performance of a contract where one follows. We do not add enquirers to marketing lists.
Email is hosted on Google Workspace, so correspondence is processed by Google on our behalf under its data processing terms.
Quality Systems purchases
Products are sold through Payhip. When you buy or download a product, Payhip collects the personal and payment data needed to complete the transaction and deliver the files, under its own privacy policy and payment terms. We receive your name, email address and order details from Payhip so that we can provide support and comply with tax and accounting obligations. We retain purchase records for six years in line with HMRC requirements.
Client engagements
During consultancy and engineering assurance work we process personal data belonging to client and project staff (names, roles, contact details, signatures on inspection records) as necessary to perform the contract. This data is held under the client's instructions and retained in accordance with the contract and any applicable regulatory retention periods.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. It is shared only with the service providers named above, with professional advisers (accountant, insurer) where necessary, and where the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these, email craigcollier@structassure.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
