Quality and assurance delivery under one of the most demanding client review regimes in UK construction, where documentation quality was a gating item for every handover.
StructAssure Ltd is a construction assurance company based in County Durham, founded and led by Craig Collier. It exists to give contractors and delivery teams direct access to the standard of quality and engineering assurance normally found only inside a Tier 1 or client organisation.
Craig has worked for more than fifteen years on UK rail and infrastructure, including Crossrail, Transport for Wales Core Valley Lines, TfGM Metrolink and Network Rail programmes. He currently holds Quality Manager and Mechanical CRE roles on live rail programmes.
His work sits at the point where a contractor's records meet the client's assurance process: the ITP that is returned, the quality plan that is rejected, the handback pack that is missing the one certificate the Entry Into Service panel needs. StructAssure was set up to put that experience at the contractor's disposal before the review, rather than after it.
He is dual-chartered, in construction management and in quality, and a full member of the APM. That combination is unusual and deliberate: quality assurance on a live programme is a project-management problem as much as a documentation one.

Traction power and systems verification and validation across the electrification programme: requirement tracing, evidence review, derogation and open-item management for multiple work packages.
Traction substation delivery through to Entry Into Service and handback: assurance registers, CRE deliverables, commissioning evidence and the handback pack assembled to the client's safety management system.
Quality management and CRE support to contractors delivering under Network Rail's assurance and acceptance processes.
